Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern the relationship between all buyers and sellers who use the Game in Shop platform and the platform itself. By using the platform, you declare that you have read and accepted these terms. This text is for informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice.

011. Scope of the service

Game in Shop is an intermediary marketplace platform for buying and selling game currency and in-game units. Unlike traditional marketplaces, it is not the seller but the buyer who creates the listing: they post the game currency and units they want to buy and the price they are willing to pay, and sellers submit offers in response to that listing. The platform also provides an escrow service for the safety of both parties; the amount paid by the buyer is held in a blocked state within the system until delivery is confirmed.

Game in Shop is an intermediary that brings buyers and sellers together and manages the payment flow through escrow. The platform is not the direct seller, producer, or owner of game currency or in-game units; trading always takes place between independent users.

The platform does not guarantee the origin of the game currency delivered by sellers, its compliance with the game publisher's rules, or the consequences that delivery may have for your game account. Game in Shop provides only the intermediation and escrow infrastructure; carrying out the in-game delivery itself is the seller's responsibility.

022. Account, eligibility, and user responsibility

To use the platform, the information you provide when creating an account must be accurate, current, and complete. Creating an account with false, misleading, or someone else's information is a violation of these terms and may result in the suspension or closure of your account.

You are responsible for the security of your account. Keeping your password confidential, not sharing your login information, and immediately reporting to support any unauthorized access you notice on your account are your obligations. All transactions carried out through your account are considered to belong to you unless you can prove otherwise.

To use the platform, you must be of legal age (18 or older) under the applicable legislation, or have the capacity to enter into binding contracts in your country. If you are acting on behalf of an organization, you are deemed to have declared that you have the authority to represent and bind that organization.

033. Listings, offers, and orders

The buyer creates a listing specifying the game currency they want to buy, the amount, the game, and the price they agree to pay. Sellers see this listing and submit an offer with the terms under which they can deliver. When the buyer accepts an offer they find suitable, an order is created and the escrow process begins.

When an order is created, the amount paid by the buyer is placed in escrow as blocked. The seller carries out the in-game delivery and is obliged to upload video proof documenting the delivery. Video proof is the primary basis for support review in the event of a dispute; uploading incomplete, fake, or misleading proof is prohibited.

When the buyer confirms that they have received the delivery and approves the order, or does not object within the 3-day period granted for approval, the system automatically approves the order and the blocked amount is transferred to the seller. Providing accurate and honest information in listings, offers, and order correspondence is the responsibility of all parties.

044. Escrow, payments, and fees

Game in Shop holds the order amount in escrow until delivery is confirmed. When the buyer makes the payment, the amount is blocked; once the seller has made the delivery and uploaded video proof and the buyer has approved (or automatic approval has occurred), the amount is released to the seller. This mechanism aims to allow parties to transact without having to trust each other in advance.

The platform supports various payment methods such as bank transfer/wire, cryptocurrency (USDT, BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP on-chain), Binance Pay, and WebMoney. Balances are stored in the system in USD; differences arising from currency and crypto exchange rates may occur during deposit and withdrawal transactions.

The platform may charge a fee/commission on the transaction in return for the intermediation and escrow service it provides. The fees applied are stated on the relevant screen before the transaction. In deposit and withdrawal transactions, the network fees of the payment method or blockchain used may additionally apply.

055. Prohibited uses

Fraud, fake delivery, fraudulent refund claims (chargeback abuse), and any kind of deceptive behavior are strictly prohibited on the platform. Likewise, using the platform for the purpose of money laundering, laundering illegal funds, or circumventing sanctions lists is prohibited and may result in a report to the relevant authorities.

Offering for sale stolen accounts, stolen game currency, or units obtained through illegal means; the unauthorized use of payment instruments belonging to others; and attempting to bypass the security mechanism by moving transactions outside escrow, off the platform, are prohibited. Game in Shop provides no protection for transactions that move off the platform.

The unauthorized use of automated tools, bots, scrapers, or any kind of automation that abuses the platform; the manipulation of ratings/reviews with fake accounts; and attempts at unauthorized access to the system's technical infrastructure are prohibited. Violation of these rules may result in the cancellation of the transaction, the freezing of the balance, and the permanent closure of the account.

066. Dispute resolution and refunds

If you experience a problem with an order (delivery was not made, was incomplete, or did not comply with the agreed terms), you can start the dispute process by opening a dispute before the approval period expires. When a dispute is opened, the amount in question is not released and continues to be held in escrow.

In disputes, the support team reviews the parties' statements, the order correspondence, and especially the video proof uploaded by the seller. The decision is based on concrete evidence as far as possible; if delivery is proven to have taken place, the amount is directed to the seller, and if it is found that delivery was not made or was incomplete, the refund is directed to the buyer.

Before an order has been processed or before the seller has begun delivery, cancellation and refund may be possible where conditions are appropriate. For approved and completed deliveries, a refund is evaluated only according to the outcome of a dispute review.

077. Disclaimer and no warranty

The buying and selling of game currency and in-game units (RMT) may be contrary to the terms of use of many game publishers and carries the risk that your account may face sanctions such as a warning, suspension, or permanent ban. No RMT transaction is 100% risk-free; the P2P structure, escrow, and low-volume transactions offered by Game in Shop reduce the risk but cannot eliminate it entirely. You transact by accepting these risks of your own free will.

The service is provided as is and in its current form; no guarantee is given of uninterrupted operation, error-free functioning, a specific delivery outcome, or a particular result with the game publisher. The platform cannot be held responsible for the behavior of sellers, the origin of the game currency delivered, or the consequences that may arise for your game account.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable legislation, Game in Shop's liability is limited to the operation of the escrow infrastructure and does not cover indirect, incidental, or loss-of-profit damages. This text is not legal advice; you are advised to seek independent expert opinion on matters about which you are uncertain.

088. Changes to the agreement and termination

Game in Shop reserves the right to update these Terms of Use from time to time. Significant changes are announced by an appropriate method, and the date on which the updated terms take effect is indicated on this page. Continuing to use the platform after a change means that you accept the current terms.

In the event of a violation of these terms, suspicion of fraud, illegal use, or behavior that threatens the security of other users, the platform has the right to suspend or close your account. Where necessary, ongoing transactions may be frozen and the balance may not be released until the review is concluded.

You can request to close your account at any time; however, ongoing orders, open disputes, and blocked amounts remain valid until the relevant processes are completed. Even if the account is closed, obligations relating to completed transactions and provisions of these terms that must remain in effect by their nature remain in force.

1010. Right of Withdrawal and Immediate Performance

Consumers residing in the European Union are, as a general rule, entitled to withdraw from distance contracts within 14 days of the conclusion of the contract without giving any reason. This right derives from Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU and the corresponding national legislation.

However, under Article 16(a) and (m) of that Directive, the right of withdrawal ceases to apply to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium and to services performed immediately with the consumer's prior express consent. The game currency, in-game items, accounts, e-pins and boosting services offered through gameinshop.com are performed immediately once the purchase is confirmed. By confirming the purchase, the customer expressly consents to performance beginning immediately and acknowledges that, upon completion of performance, the 14-day right of withdrawal is lost.

For services that have not yet been performed, the consumer's right of withdrawal remains reserved. In any event, the escrow and dispute process operated for any issues relating to performance provides a separate consumer safeguard, independent of the right of withdrawal, allowing a refund where a product is not delivered at all or is defective.
