Throne and Liberty 4.15.0 Changes Trait Resonance and Boss Loot

Throne and Liberty 4.15.0 improves Trait Resonance progression while revising Vegamor rewards and guild loot distribution.

A three-hour maintenance window

Throne and Liberty Update 4.15.0 is scheduled to arrive during maintenance beginning October 7 at 10:30 p.m. PT, corresponding to October 8 at 5:30 UTC. The downtime is expected to last approximately three hours. Players may be unable to log in or access ongoing activities until the servers return, so sessions should be wrapped up before the maintenance window begins.

The stated duration is an estimate rather than a guaranteed reopening time. The update itself centers on Lucky Reward Chests, two adjustments to Trait Resonance progression, and revised rules for distributing selected boss rewards. As a result, 4.15.0 is relevant both to players developing their own equipment and to guilds that organize shared loot after encounters.

Lucky Reward Chests and Vegamor stones

Lucky Reward Chests are one of the update’s central additions. Vegamor’s unique heroic trait enchantment stones will now be available through these chests. Distribution is not described as a guaranteed reward, however. The stones will be awarded by chance to players who contributed, meaning that eligible participation places a player in consideration but does not ensure that a stone will be received.

These Vegamor stones also have a clear restriction: rewards granted through the Lucky Reward Chests are excluded from guild distribution. A stone awarded to a contributor will therefore not move into the guild’s shared allocation process. Guild leaders and members should keep this exception in mind when reviewing the results of a Vegamor encounter and setting expectations about which rewards can be reassigned.

Trait Resonance progression gets two improvements

Update 4.15.0 raises the success rates for Trait Resonance growth. No specific percentages are included in the available announcement, but the change establishes that growth attempts will have a better chance of succeeding after the update. For players currently advancing Trait Resonance, it may therefore be useful to account for the improved conditions when planning their next set of attempts.

A second adjustment creates a direct crafting path for Trait Resonance Stones. The update adds a recipe that lets players craft the stones themselves. Together, the two changes address both sides of the progression process: the probability of successful growth is increased, while the stones used by the system gain a direct recipe. Material requirements and crafting costs are not detailed in the announcement.

More boss rewards enter guild distribution

Although Vegamor’s unique stones remain outside guild distribution, selected rewards from other bosses are moving in the opposite direction. Certain Amitoi, shapeshifts, and materials obtained from bosses will now be eligible to enter guild distribution. This allows some rewards that fall within those specified categories to be handled through the guild’s shared allocation process rather than remaining outside it.

The revised rules create two distinct outcomes. Vegamor’s unique heroic trait enchantment stones are awarded by chance among contributors and cannot enter guild distribution. Eligible Amitoi, shapeshifts, and boss materials can now be placed into that system. After maintenance, players should check how each reward is labeled, while guilds may want to explain the new boundary clearly before deciding how distributable items will be assigned.
