Golden Gnomes 2026 honors RuneScape's community

The Golden Gnomes 2026 results arrived after ceremonies held across two RuneFest stages. Here are the RuneScape and cross-game winners highlighted in the results.

Results published after RuneFest

Jagex published the Golden Gnomes 2026 results on 2 October, after the awards were presented across two stages at RuneFest. The wider program celebrated 45 community figures from across the company's games, while the RuneScape results post combines game-specific prizes with several categories open to work spanning more than one title. That distinction matters: the Golden Gnomes are not a game update, competitive ranking or change to RuneScape's systems. They recognize the people and projects that influenced how the game was watched, explained and represented through art during the year. Several names appear more than once, underlining how community creators often contribute through multiple formats rather than staying within a single discipline.

Art and player-made creations take the spotlight

One of the clearest stories in the visual categories was Ninth Cloud's double win. Ninth Cloud received Best New RuneScape Artist as well as Best Digital Artistic Creation, earning recognition both as an emerging creator and for an individual digital work. Redwigon won Best Physical Artistic Creation, the category devoted to work made in tangible media. Evergreen received Best RuneScape Artist, recognizing a broader body of creative output. The in-game design side of the community also had its own place in the results: RainyScape won Best RuneScape Homestead. Taken together, these awards show the range of RuneScape-inspired expression, stretching from digital illustration and handmade pieces to carefully planned spaces created with the game's own building tools.

Guide, video and livestream winners

Creators who teach the game or share it live were represented across both newcomer and established categories. Edimmuz won Best New Video Guide, while Jolly Austin RS was named Best New Video Creator. Protoxx received Best RuneScape Video Creator. Video of the Year went to The RS Guy's bank-rebuild video, and The RS Guy also won Best RuneScape Streamer and Best Streamed RuneScape Moment, placing his work in three separate results. Ally took Best New Streamer. Cross-game categories broadened the list further: Soup's Gielinor Games Season 5 won Best Series, SoloMission's DMM AS s3 received Best Streamed Event, and Alan Walker's Sailing won Best Music Composition. The selections cover structured competitions, practical guidance, long-form series and live storytelling rather than treating community video as one uniform format.

Recognition beyond headline content

The Golden Gnomes also acknowledged contributions that are not measured only by audience size. Megaduck received Unsung Hero, an award that brings less visible community work into focus. Glotzfrosch won Creator's Choice, while M With Z was named Community Champion. Among the cross-game honors, Port Khazard received Gamer of the Year. Charity recognition went to Redwigon, Mr Mammal, Odablock and Tracy Roshur, highlighting fundraising and public-minded work alongside creative achievement. None of these awards alters character power, RuneScape's economy or the rules of play. Their significance is cultural: they document the different kinds of effort that keep an established game community active, useful and welcoming. The 2026 results therefore serve as a record of contributions across art, education, entertainment, event production, volunteering and charitable activity.
