RuneScape’s Ghrazi Blood Knights Arrive as a Duo-Only Boss Fight
Lady and Lord Ghrazi now await RuneScape duos at the end of the Havenhythe storyline. The fight brings Enrage scaling and rewards for Ranged and Necromancy.
House Ghrazi Enters the Arena
RuneScape’s Havenhythe storyline has reached its high-level combat payoff. Released on 12 October 2026, the Ghrazi Blood Knights encounter puts Lady Ghrazi and Lord Ghrazi in the same arena. At launch, it is a duo-only boss fight, so success depends on two players handling a coordinated threat rather than treating each knight as a separate solo target.
Access is tied directly to the current story. Players must complete Heralds of Crimson, part of Havenhythe Part II, before challenging the pair. That requirement makes the encounter a continuation of the Sanguine conflict that spread through Fenmoor and the Exalted Quarry beyond Amberfell, not an isolated activity detached from the year’s narrative.
A Duo-First Fight With Enrage
Lady and Lord Ghrazi use different attacks and mechanics. Jagex presents the battle as a test of coordination and quick reactions, with both partners expected to read the arena and respond together. An Enrage system extends the challenge beyond a first clear, letting experienced teams push the same fight at increasingly demanding levels.
Detailed health values, rotations and drop rates were not published in the announcement, so early teams will need to learn the encounter directly. A World First title was offered to the first successful duo, reinforcing the competitive opening. A solo version was announced for four weeks after launch—approximately 9 November 2026 if the schedule holds.
Rewards Target Two Combat Styles
The headline reward is a Tier 95 Ranged crossbow set: Malachi’s Tooth and Malachi’s Claw. The pair is designed as an alternative play style rather than a simple upgrade over the Bow of the Last Guardian. While equipped, a Ranged ability has a 25% chance to have its cooldown reset, and a successful trigger also creates an additional bonus-damage effect. The result is intentionally more variable and opportunity-driven.
Necromancy receives Invoke Arisen Flesh, its second elemental codex. The effect causes the player’s Zombie conjures to siphon the player’s life points in exchange for increased Zombie damage, with extra strength below a defined health threshold. Because the wording is not tied to one named Zombie, the design can also support future Zombie conjures. It is a risk-reward option rather than a passive, consequence-free boost.
A Focused Loot Pool and Clear Next Steps
Jagex is also testing a tighter unique-reward pool for this boss. The stated aim is to slow power creep and reduce the dilution of individual reward values. Unique drops appear physically on the ground instead of inside a reward chest, giving successful kills a more immediate reveal. Exact probabilities remain undisclosed, so players should be cautious about early value estimates.
For players preparing now, the practical checklist is clear: finish Heralds of Crimson, find a reliable partner and expect Enrage attempts to demand more than basic damage output. A balance pass for Bakriminel bolts was described as planned for the coming weeks rather than part of the launch, while the solo mode is also a later addition. The release therefore begins as a focused two-player endgame challenge with room to evolve.
