Path of Exile's 2026 Halloween Cosmetics Are Available
Limited-time Halloween items are now available for Path of Exile 1 and Path of Exile 2. Compatibility differs across the collection, so not every item works in both games yet.
The limited Halloween window is open
Path of Exile's official announcement has opened the 2026 seasonal Halloween microtransaction selection to players of both Path of Exile 1 and Path of Exile 2. The 19-item collection spans several forms of customization, including character appearances, pets, back attachments, hideout content and other themed effects. These items are not being presented as permanent additions: the availability window has a fixed end, after which the selection will leave until the next Halloween period.
The key detail is that the entire collection does not currently share the same game support. A smaller set is already compatible with both Path of Exile titles, while the larger second set works only in the first game for now. Path of Exile 2 players should therefore check more than an item's appearance or theme before making a decision; its current compatibility category is just as important.
Six items already work in both games
The cross-compatible group contains six products: Devil Tail Hip Attachment, Skeleton Skin, Wide-brimmed Witch Hat, Severed Arm Weapon Skin, Ghost Dog Pet and Mummified Giant Sphynx Pet. Keeping the official product names visible makes them easier to identify in the selection, especially where several Halloween designs occupy different cosmetic slots.
This group covers a useful spread of customization types. Devil Tail is a hip attachment, Skeleton Skin changes the character's overall look, Wide-brimmed Witch Hat supplies headwear and Severed Arm is a weapon skin. Ghost Dog and Mummified Giant Sphynx provide the two pet choices. Players moving between the original game and its sequel therefore have six clearly identified options that do not carry the current version split.
The Path of Exile 1-only list is longer
The second group includes Hallowed Fireworks, Doomcrow Apparition Effect, Dancing Skeleton Pet, Entombed Hideout, Devil Horns, Bleeding Eyes, Spider Web Cloak, Spider Back Attachment, Scare Mask Helmet Skin, Sword Through Helmet Attachment, Hallowed Grave Decoration, Jack-o'-Lantern Patch and Guillotine Portal Effect. At present, these thirteen products are usable only in Path of Exile 1 and are not ready for immediate use inside Path of Exile 2.
That division has not been described as permanent. The official information says support for these items in Path of Exile 2 is planned for the future. No specific date accompanies that plan, so sequel-only players should not treat future compatibility as immediate access. The practical position today is straightforward: six named products support both games, while the remaining thirteen are currently restricted to the first Path of Exile. Together, the two groups account for all 19 announced products.
Availability ends on November 11
The Halloween selection remains available until 4:00 p.m. PST on November 11, 2026. Once that deadline passes, the products will be removed and will not return until the next Halloween season. Anyone interested should account for the stated PST time zone as well as the date, since a local time conversion can move the effective cutoff and make a last-minute decision riskier than it appears.
The simplest way to review the collection is to start with the Path of Exile version you actively play, then locate the desired product in the appropriate compatibility group. The first six are the clearest choices for players using both games today. Those considering one of the Path of Exile 1-only items specifically for the sequel should remember that later support is confirmed, but a delivery schedule has not yet been announced.
