Path of Exile 2 Registration Locks In Two Launch Rewards

Path of Exile 2’s full-release registration campaign has unlocked two cosmetic effects for confirmed participants. Existing Early Access players must still sign up and verify their email before the December 11 PST deadline.

Two milestones are already secured

Grinding Gear Games’ October 19 update gives prospective Path of Exile 2 players a clear checkpoint before release. The community has crossed two registration milestones, so everyone who completes the full-release sign-up and confirms their email is eligible to receive two cosmetic effects. The rewards are tied to the game’s December 11, 2026 launch, when Path of Exile 2 is scheduled to leave Early Access and become free to play.

The campaign is collective rather than competitive. Each additional registration pushes the wider community toward later thresholds, and any further reward unlocked before the deadline will apply to eligible registrants as well. That structure means latecomers do not miss the two milestones already reached; they can still join the campaign while helping move the remaining goals. The October update does not promise that every outstanding tier will be reached, so players should treat only the first two effects as confirmed for now.

Registration is separate from Early Access

Buying or already owning an Early Access pack does not count as registration. Grinding Gear Games explicitly says current players must sign up separately, which is the most important detail for anyone who assumed an existing purchase or game account was enough. The promotion is therefore open to newcomers and established players under the same condition: a completed registration through the dedicated full-release page.

The process has two steps. Visit pathofexile2.com/register and submit an email address, then open the message sent by the organizer and use its confirmation button. Entering an address without completing that second step leaves the sign-up unfinished. Players should check spam or promotional folders if the message is not visible, and use an inbox they expect to retain access to as launch approaches.

What December 11 changes

Registration remains available until December 11 PST, the same date announced for the full release. Time-zone wording matters here: the publisher states the cutoff in Pacific Standard Time rather than a local midnight for every region. Anyone planning to register close to launch should therefore avoid relying on a last-minute conversion and complete the confirmation ahead of time.

The launch itself changes the entry point to the game. Path of Exile 2 is due to become free to play on December 11, so an Early Access purchase is not required to begin playing after release. The milestone items are cosmetic effects, not power upgrades, and the registration campaign should be viewed as a launch keepsake rather than a gameplay advantage.

A short checklist before launch

Before closing the registration page, players should verify three things: the correct email address was entered, the confirmation link was used, and the confirmation was not confused with an Early Access receipt or account notification. Keeping the relevant email may also make it easier to resolve questions later. Repeating the form is less useful than making sure the original sign-up actually reached its confirmed state.

After that, the next step is to follow official Path of Exile 2 updates for milestone progress and reward-delivery information. The confirmed position as of October 19 is straightforward: two community goals have been completed, two cosmetic effects are secured for qualified registrants, and more may be added if participation reaches further thresholds before the December 11 deadline.
