OSRS The Graveyard lets players set their own Agility pace

The level 65-80 Agility course unlocked after The Graveyard will combine relaxed and high-intensity routes. Jagex is also proposing permanent Graceful unlocks.

A hybrid course is the November quest’s main reward

Old School RuneScape’s new Master-level quest, The Graveyard, will continue the story of Olaf’s Quest in November. Completing it unlocks a dark underwater Agility course aimed at progression between levels 65 and 80. Sunken ships, drifting wreckage and the struggle to stay above water set the scene, but the important mechanical change is the ability to choose your pace while moving through the course.

Some obstacles will offer a slower route with roughly 20 to 30 seconds of downtime, while the active alternative may ask players to identify the correct stones and maintain a one-tick rhythm. The design therefore puts second-screen or mobile-friendly sections beside mechanics that reward close attention within the same lap. Exact obstacles have not been locked in because development and playtesting are still under way.

How XP and Marks of Grace are being balanced

The initial target for high-intensity play is 65,000 to 75,000 Agility XP per hour. That ceiling assumes tick-perfect execution, so most players should expect a lower practical result. Jagex wants active Graveyard runs to land near the Ardougne Rooftop Course in real conditions and below the fourth floor of Hallowed Sepulchre.

The relaxed route was initially presented at about 55,000 to 60,000 XP and 14 to 15 Marks of Grace per hour. At maximum intensity, the course is intended to exceed 30 Marks per hour and become the game’s strongest source, while low-intensity Graveyard should remain behind Ardougne Rooftops for Marks. The Penguin Agility Course will also keep its position as the most efficient Giant Squirrel hunt. These boundaries give the new activity a niche without erasing older training methods.

Fremennik cosmetics and permanent Graceful ownership

A picklockable chest before the final obstacle, requiring 65 Thieving, can contain the rare Fremennik Graceful Ornament Kit. Failed attempts award stackable Sunken treasure that can be exchanged in Rellekka for Marks of Grace. Ghostly Sails and Fremennik Sails are also proposed as cosmetic discoveries elsewhere on the island; neither would provide a Sailing advantage.

The broader proposal would turn Graceful pieces into one-time account unlocks. Players would still spend Marks of Grace on the first purchase, but replacement copies could then be bought from Grace with GP. The proposed full-set replacement price is 430,000 GP. Marks spent on duplicate pieces currently stored on a character would be refunded, while deleted items cannot be tracked retroactively and Graceful could no longer be sold back for Marks.

The poll is scheduled to open on September 21, 2026, so none of these rates or rewards should be treated as final. Voters should consider their preferred attention level, Mark generation and the continued value of existing courses rather than comparing headline XP alone. Players trading OSRS GP, items or accounts can use GameinShop’s escrow protection for a safer transaction.
