Dota 2 Dark Carnival story event begins
Dota 2’s Dark Carnival has opened with a large story-driven format. Legion Commander and Hoodwink are at the center of the new chapter.
A new narrative chapter
Dark Carnival is not a small cosmetic patch for Dota 2; it arrives as a full story event. The setup puts Legion Commander and Hoodwink aboard a hostile circus train controlled by Ringmaster, giving the update a clear narrative hook.
Five automaton personas
The most visible collectible addition is a set of five automaton hero personas. These redesign selected heroes with a mechanical stage-show identity and give collectors a reason to watch the event path closely. As the story expands, rewards and character moments should become the main draw.
Why players should follow it
