Black Desert Adds a Halloween Twist to Arena of Solare

Black Desert’s seasonal event combines Arena of Solare objectives with a Halloween quest chain and extra grinding encounters. It ends before maintenance on November 5.

The event opened after October 15 maintenance

Black Desert’s Halloween program became available once maintenance concluded on October 15. The event places seasonal Arena of Solare objectives alongside a themed story quest and special enemies that may appear during ordinary monster hunting. That gives both PvP-focused adventurers and players who prefer open-world grinding a way to make progress during the same event period.

According to the announcement, the event closes before maintenance begins on November 5. Because maintenance times can be displayed differently by region, players planning to finish near the deadline should rely on the exact time shown in the in-game Event and Quest interfaces. Certain objectives may also require rewards to be claimed before the period ends, not merely completed.

The Wormhole Generator and Daemon questline

The story portion follows a quest chain involving the Wormhole Generator and Daemon. It can be completed once per Family and starts by accepting the specified prerequisite event quest, after which the newly added quests become available in sequence. If the next step does not appear, checking quest filters and the listed prerequisites should help identify what still needs attention.

Reaching the end of the chain awards the Silence of the Good helmet outfit and Purified Devil’s Boxes. The helmet brings the event’s eerie theme into a character’s appearance, while the boxes form a separate part of the quest rewards. Since item names and delivery details can vary between localizations, the in-game reward preview remains the best reference before completing each step.

Special Pumpkin monsters join regular grinding

Outside the quest chain, special Pumpkin monsters can appear while players are defeating enemies or working through their usual grinding sessions. This structure lets adventurers participate in the Halloween event without replacing every established hunting route. Players should still confirm that their chosen area and the relevant event indicators meet the conditions displayed by the live game.

These Pumpkin monsters can supply enhancement materials including Cron Stones, Magical Shards and Sharp Black Crystal Shards. Rather than building a plan around an assumed encounter rate or exact quantity, it is more useful to treat those drops as an event bonus added to normal hunting returns. They can support ongoing gear projects without making the event dependent on one reward type.

Pairing a spooky look with Solare objectives

Participation in Arena of Solare contributes to seasonal objectives and their associated rewards during the event window. The announcement encourages players to enter the existing Arena experience; it does not establish a new set of match rules. Requirements should therefore be read individually in the in-game event panel instead of inferring a specific number of matches, wins or ranking milestones.

For players building a Halloween-themed outfit, the Silence of the Good helmet can provide a visual link to their Arena activity. A practical route is to unlock the once-per-Family quest chain first, watch for Pumpkin encounters during normal grinding, and review Solare objective progress regularly. For every task and reward, use the in-game deadline shown ahead of November 5 maintenance.
