Black Desert’s Sea Palace adventure returns with a treasure hunt and Baby Vell encounter, alongside Heidel Ball bonuses.
How to enter and when it ends
Black Desert’s weekly event schedule highlights the Sea Palace adventure, which began after maintenance on July 23 and runs until maintenance on August 6. Players must complete the Sea Palace entry quest, then travel through the Swirling Sea to reach the event area. Because the window is limited, starting the quest chain early is safer for anyone pursuing several rewards or using more than one character.
The themed area offers four tales and related activities. Checking the opening requirements in the quest log can prevent wasted travel. Event content may also use family-wide limits or specific reset times, so players should watch the counters and descriptions shown in the in-game event interface.
Treasure hunting and Baby Vell
A map washed ashore at Terrmian Beach begins the Sea Palace Treasure Hunt. This activity focuses on exploration and following clues, so even combat-focused players should reserve inventory space for quest items. Reading each objective before moving between the beach and palace can save unnecessary trips and make the limited event time easier to manage.
The schedule also includes a boss encounter built around stopping Baby Vell’s invasion. The announcement emphasizes fighting the boss twice, suggesting a participation or reward limit that should be confirmed on the in-game event page. Arriving before the encounter gives players room to handle crowded servers, connection delays or a required channel change.
Use the Heidel Ball celebration bonuses
Heidel Ball Hot Time and Celebration Feast bonuses accompany the Sea Palace activities. Since Hot Time periods can accelerate ordinary progression, players can prepare routes around combat, life skills or leveling goals before logging in. Short sessions with a defined objective may extract more value from a bonus window than unfocused play.
The event closes with maintenance on August 6. Unused quest items, unclaimed rewards and family limits should therefore be reviewed beforehand.
