About Us

Game in Shop is a two-sided game marketplace: buyers post what they want and collect offers, while sellers open sell listings and sell directly (plus e-pins and an item exchange). Below, we explain in plain language who we are, how the system works, and what we do and do not promise.

01Who are we?

Game in Shop is a reverse marketplace platform where in-game currency and units are bought and sold. What sets it apart from classic marketplaces is this: here, the listing is opened not by the seller, but by the buyer who wants to purchase something. The buyer posts which game's currency they want, in what amount, and at what price; sellers then make offers on this demand.

The platform brings together players who want to make the most of the currency they have accumulated in a particular game, and players who want to buy in-game units to save time. Our goal is to carry out this exchange not on guesswork, but within an order based on clear rules and payment protection.

In short, Game in Shop is a community marketplace that aims to move P2P (peer-to-peer) in-game currency trading into a structure that is more transparent, more traceable, and where the parties can see one another.

02How is a reverse marketplace different?

In the traditional model, the seller posts a listing and the buyer searches; on Game in Shop, the flow is reversed. First, the buyer clearly writes what they want: the game, the amount, and the price they are willing to pay are known from the start. This way, negotiation begins on a concrete and visible demand.

Sellers make offers on this open demand. Because more than one seller can make an offer on the same listing, the buyer makes a choice by seeing the price and the seller's rating side by side. Announcing the price from the start reduces the likelihood of hidden surcharges or surprise haggling.

The aim of this structure is to set the balance not in favor of the buyer, but in favor of transparency: everyone can see what is being demanded and at what price, and who is offering under which conditions.

03Trust and protection

Every transaction is protected by a payment-protection system. When a purchase is confirmed, the buyer's payment is held in the system; the money is in neither the buyer's nor the seller's hands, and is kept on the platform until the transaction between the parties is safely completed.

After the seller makes the in-game delivery, they upload video proof. When the buyer confirms the delivery, or if no objection is raised within the set period (3 days), automatic approval kicks in and the money is transferred to the seller. This step both documents that the delivery was actually made and leaves a concrete record to refer to in case of a possible dispute.

Every seller has a rating, a review history, and a level; this data is formed from past transactions and gives the buyer an idea of who they are working with. At any point where you get stuck, you can reach our 24/7 live support team.

04Honesty and risk

Let's be clear: in-game currency trading (RMT, real-money trading) is by its nature a field that carries risk, and no method can eliminate this risk 100%. Rather than hiding this, we prefer to say it upfront.

What we do is bring the risk down to a manageable level: protection of money through payment protection, video-proof delivery, seller ratings, and the small-volume, hands-on transactions of the P2P structure reduce this risk. However, this does not mean zero risk.

Let us also clearly state what we do NOT promise: we do not guarantee the consequences of transactions that violate game developers' rules, account penalties, or the decisions of third parties. This page is for informational purposes and is not legal advice. We recommend that you act responsibly and assess your own situation.
